• TEACHER EVALUATIONS
  • An email went out yesterday detailing the appeal process and timeline

• PROGRESS MONITORING
  • USEP filed a grievance on 10.25.21
    • Our concern is for the increased workload required and the inability to complete documentation during contract hours
      • We are asking for employees to be paid for additional time worked completing the documentation
      • We are asking that redundancies in the process be eliminated
  • USEP sent a letter Demanding to Bargain the Impact of the PMP on 11.3.21
    • We will be scheduling a meeting with the District to discuss our concerns
• SCHOOL START TIMES
  • On 11.4.21, USEP sent a letter Demanding to Bargain the Impact to employees of the new start times for schools recently passed by the School Board
  • We will be scheduling a meeting with the District to discuss our concerns
• COVID $1,000 SUPPLEMENT
  • If you did not receive a check (deposit stub) yesterday for the COVID RETENTION SUPPLEMENT, and you feel you met the qualifications for the payment, please notify your Building Rep. They can then contact our office to investigate.

REMINDER – REVISION TO USEP Payment of Dues

• The USEP Rep Council, at the recommendation of the Executive Board, recently revised the “Policy for Payment of USEP Dues”.
  • Specific dates were inserted into the previous policy for clarification of Drop Windows
  • Language was inserted for Incentive requirements
