Part-time Office Clerk / Receptionist

 

General Duties: This employee is responsible for performing receptionist and clerical tasks required in the daily activities of the United School Employees of Pasco (USEP) in order to maintain the smooth and efficient daily office operation including receiving and routing incoming telephone calls, greeting and directing visitors, setting up meeting rooms, and reproducing and distributing communications.

Minimum Qualifications:

- High school graduate
- Typing at 45 wpm
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Good telephone etiquette and ability to handle a multi-line telephone system
- Computer and copier operation skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office programs, esp. Word
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

 

Desired Qualifications:

- Database skills
- Bilingual (Spanish)

 

Salary:

$10.50 per hour

Hours:

Fifteen hours per week. Flexible hours, preferably three 5-hour days weekly

Benefits:

Pay prorated over 26 pay periods to accommodate Pasco School District calendar; some fringe benefits, sick leave and paid holidays as defined in the USEP/UAW Master Contract.
