Part-time Bookkeeper

General Duties: This employee is responsible to perform a wide variety of complex financial and administrative tasks requiring strong communication and organizational skills, the application of independent judgment, and the knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures needed to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of the United School Employees of Pasco (USEP), its properties and holdings.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software
- Data Entry Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Effective organization skills
- Computer and office equipment operation skills
- Accomplished with Microsoft Office programs
- Reliable Attendance


Desired Qualifications:

- Data management skills
- Knowledge of Pasco public school system
- Knowledge of governmental reporting
- Knowledge of labor union operations
- Bilingual (Spanish)



$16.50 hourly paid over 26 pay periods to accommodate Pasco School District work calendar.


Approximately 20 hours weekly


Flexible schedule; leave and holiday pay provisions as defined in the USEP/UAW Master Contract.
