Affiliate Scholarship Information

One of the many benefits of USEP membership is the availability of scholarships from USEP and its affiliates. Check out the website(s) listed below to download applications and specific eligibility information or call the USEP office. All scholarships require the applicant to be either a dependent of a member or a member in good standing of USEP.


FEA ESP SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

All application materials must be submitted in hard copy
by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010. 

Electronic or facsimile applications will not be accepted.

The purpose of the FEA Education Staff Professional Scholarship Program is to provide incentive and financial support in the form of scholarships to School Staff Professional members to pursue additional academic training needed to obtain necessary skills and/or credentials required for promotion or advancement in the field of public education. 

Any Education Staff Professional member who has been a member in good standing of an FEA local for at least three years shall be eligible to apply.  There shall be ten scholarships of $1000.00 each awarded.

ROBERT G. PORTER SCHOLARSHIPS

A mix of national AFT contributions and voluntary contributions from AFT affiliates, members and friends make the scholars program possible for two purposes: to encourage members in good standing to learn more about labor or further their own career, and to support members' dependents who wish to pursue a career in labor, education, health care or government service.

FEA Trust Scholarship Award (Graduating Senior)

FEA is offering three (3), $2000 scholarships and one (1), $1000 scholarship to public high school graduating seniors in 2010, whose parents or guardians are members of FEA. Call the USEP office to have an application sent to you.
