USEP has been receiving calls about the “Governor’s pay raise.” Here are a few important points to consider:
- Statutory language allows for school districts to be more flexible in dispensing pay raises prior to the July 1, 2014, date that has been widely reported.
- Nothing is set in stone!
- All details MUST be negotiated, including amounts, dates, and performance indicators!
- USEP will fight for instructional staff to receive pay raises as soon as possible.
- USEP is committed to ensuring that ALL SRP get pay raises as well. While the Governor seems to have forgotten SRP, USEP has not!
